Invited Lecture at Kyung Hee University-Skin Biotechnology Center

Arunasiri Iddamalgoda, Deputy General Manager of the R&D of Ichimaru Pharcos, gave a lecture on the topic “Current Scientific Trends in Major Cosmetic Brands Globally and Ichimaru Pharcos Approach to Cosmetic Ingredient Development”

ICHIMARU PHARCOS and Convention of Biological Diversity (CBD)

ICHIMARU PHARCOS became on of the few companies in the Cosmetic industry to have an agreeement for accessing natural herbal materials under the CBD with National Biodiversity Authority (NBA), Government of India. Acess and Benefit sharing agreement through our main Supplier (BIB Corporation) and Neem (Melia Azadirachta) producing villages made ichimaru pharcos work on Sustainability and Environmental Conservation projects in the original resource country and uplift the village living standard.
Our work has been recognized by Indian Biodiversity Authority and was selected to present at COP 10 summit in Nagoya, Japan on 27th October 2010. Ichimaru pharcos would like to work on similar kind of projects for sustainable access of natural ingredients in the future.

We have organized a awareness project for children in the Neem accessing village in India and our experience travelling to Neem villages in India is also included in the presentation.

ICHIMARU PHARCOS Researchers developed a new natural ingredient teargeting Transit-Amplifying (TA) stem cells, which could be one of the latest approach for Anti-aging Skin Care.
